None if you're not retiring in 5 years

Hard to respond without knowing your financial situation, horizon, risk appetite. Generally Warren Buffett recommends it, but if you’re younger like me (24) I’d consider growth stocks/growth ETFs etc

Exactly what I was thinking. Financial situation is average, and can take moderate to high risk for next 5 years, looking to retire only after 2050.. some high risk growth funds then?

Go for it. Seriously.

Personally would say yes plus some diversification, maybe even higher risk, long horizon funds

Target date may be good because they have a more aggressive mix to start then go to lower over time. Otherwise something that may be cyclical but would most likely increase long term

My wife doesn’t invest her money in stocks, mutual funds , CDs. She just has a 401k and all her savings go into a savings account which basically yields nothing. I coax her into investing and have often told her about inflation over the years and lower of compounding but she is too scared that investing would take her money away. Experienced investors, buying my first rental property for 168k. For primary property I know it make sense to get the lowest rate by putting down as much as possible. But for this one I'm getting 25% down at 2.875% and 20% down at 3.625% no points. Saving 8400 in upfront costs with 20% down. What do I do? Also going to fix it up estimated costs 15k.
