Pros / cons of working at a LMM? (Also coming from consulting if that makes a difference)

We're always looking for new ways to make things easier for our customers and clients, but sometimes I just want to take a step back and breathe.

Has anyone used an Airbnb experience photographer while on a vacation. I know the experience will vary greatly, but generally speaking, how does it work? Is it like when you go to some of these studios and they hold your pictures hostage till you fork over a bunch of $$? The ones I’ve viewed said they give you X amount of digital pics within 2 days. Are you expected to tip the photographer and if so, how much?

What was your TC at your first job?

Proud of myself for averaging over 10k steps/day for the past two weeks after a pretty sedentary June and July (averaging 5k steps/day). I’m aiming to average 12k steps/day this week.

Thoughts on IB vs. Strategy backgrounds joining PE deal-side teams? What’s the opposing value brought by each in your opinion?

At what point it’s too late to move from MBB to PE? Can you still move as a Manager (Project Leader)? Is it possible to break into a deal team? Will you need to take a downgrade in that case (e.g. start as an Associate)?
