PSA to anyone doing transactional work - learn to make an org chart in Microsoft office using SmartArt. It’s super easy and for some reason Borrowers and Lenders both seem incapable of making them so you’ll look way smarter than you are.

I agree this tool allowed me to just click around and shine! I can attest to this.

Too good for PowerPoint eh?

It’s in Powerpoint so win win org chart and presentation done and done

But how do you set it up so that you have multiple owners (ie a joint venture)? I use PowerPoint but just manually create boxes.

A2, put whatever the asset is as the top box and then put the two boxes for the JV below, tabbed over the same amount.

I applied & interviewed at a small firm in JUNE. I thought it went well & the owner & I knew each other from previous cases we handled. They ghosted me so I moved on. Mid November comes & I get a call from the paralegal “are you still looking for a job?” I thought that ship sailed but let’s see what they offer. It’s the holidays & I’ve got time off already scheduled. They’ve made a tempting offer but are not flexible on the time off & seem desperate. Like they want someone to put out fires.
