Never. I’m in Federal consulting.

Depends a lot on your federal agency, a few will have you traveling frequently, but most will not. Some state & local government projects require frequent travel to the state you’re working with. But, I’d say 90% of the people in our federal practice are 0% travel.

Yep depends on the project. I have friends traveling the world (jealous) and others not traveling at all

Been doing 8 days a month to out of town federal clients for years. But 80% of my federal colleagues travel much, much less.

Usually every other week, but the last few months it’s been every week. But like others have said, my situation is unusual.

There are some clients you would need to travel for but in general, it's just commuting around the DC metro area.
