Depends on your firm most likely. At EY there is a system where you can check various restrictions on securities. No clue what is in place at the firm in question. I’d guess that it’s probably okay, but I’m not sure if there could be additional factors in play.

Very likely restricted. You can check the system first.

As a manager at PwC you cannot buy shares of a company, if it is an audit client in your home office irrespective of whether you have worked on that client or not.

Hi i lost majority of my money in the stock market. I married and promised my family that I will not make the mistake I made 7 years ago. Gambling. Is this an addiction I have. I keep selling stocks and taking loses buying other stock hoping it will recover but never did and sell again taking loses and buy again. It now sink in to me. Can anyone give me insight on the tax accounting ASC 740 specialty groups: EY's TARAS; Deloitte's NTAG; PWC - not sure of name; KPMG - do they have one?? Not sure if any mid tiers have these groups.

How is it different from the provision work done by someone in corporate core tax? Are you prepping or auditing provisions or both? What is WLB like? Are there big peaks every quarter and at year end; slower at other times? How about exit ops into industry?
