Put in my notice partially due to feeling undervalued by the org not my boss who is great. Turns out I was going to be promoted at the end of the month they just hadn’t announced it yet. New job pays a lot more but would be a level down from this promotion. Feeling conflicted. There are some other issues at my current company but they are actively working to address. Backing out of the offer I accepted would definitely burn a bridge. Honestly not sure what I want to do. Both companies are F25

Hi! I was just offered a promotion into a different role than what I have currently been in. But I am really not sure what to ask for in terms of compensation. Did your firm count your military experience as “experience”? Joined as an analyst (bottom of the barrel). Starting to feel like I should have asked for those years to start me at least one promotion.

Our CSM department is going through a major restructure right now. There has been a huge amount of turn over since the beginning of the year. Our managers have not given us any insight to what the new restructure will look like, they have also pushed out our annual raise conversations until the end of April. A lot of CSMs are leaving the company and it has me thinking maybe I should entertain other opportunities elsewhere as well.

Just bought a new primary residence that needs work. Current home has ~$100k equity after buying in 2019 with <$20k down (appreciated around 20% in the last 3 years, in a major metro area). Would you:

1) Lock in the appreciation & sell now. Use some for renovations/other investments.

2) Keep for another 2-3 years & rent out for a small cash flow (<100/month if self-managing), get a HELOC if needed. Note it would not pass my investment criteria if buying today.

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. Any thoughts on what I could ask for at end of year reviews for a salary increase?

I am 29F and my boyfriend and I are planning to get married this year after 4 years of relationship. I am earning 14LPA and he's earning 12LPA. Our families are happy with our union.
