The base pay increase and bonus pool should surprise no one. PwC has did extremely well over the course of the pandemic.

July is normal time for base pay increase / annual raise

Flex work sounds enticing to newbies but doesn't really works if you are an auditor 😂 You still need to work long hours and wake up too early to attend to your deadlines. But yeah wfh option is a good thing for me.

Be funny if all the seniors that banked their bonus up and leave once they get their payouts.

Wtf is flex work? That mean you get to tell clients you only work 3 days/week? What about meeting with other people? What day is everyone going to be available to meet in person?

likefunnyhelpful

Old fashioned thinking. It's not one or the other, and a blend of both can actually be the most productive. Change is good. Prepare to lose good employees because you cannot change your ways

I will only do flex if PwC pays for my parking. I'm not paying to park at or near the office monthly only to have to potentially go in 4 days of a month.

What the hell is "flex work"? Is that a thing for people who are normally required to go to the office

smartfunny

We've had flexible dress and work policies for several years now. Most people weren't going to the office unless they wanted to (idk any audit teams that required working in the office). Obviously still go to clients for fieldwork though (pre-covid)

Question regarding firm’s billable bonus. Recently saw we have a billable bonus structure for each quarter. It’s based on post pre-bill cut hours (billed hours). Flat rate for 540, (monthly req is 170) then increasing rates per hour after. They’re paid at the end of the following quarter (Jan-Mar gets paid end of June) for employees still working there. Does this sound off?
