I was able to start with IVF and never did timed intercourse or IUI since I was diagnosed with DOR. UHC also let’s you bank eggs meaning you can do multiple simulation rounds before doing your first transfer. This helps with getting younger eggs to work with.
Yeah egg banking was such a blessing. I eventually maxed out on what PWC covered and transferred to my husband insurance with Aetna. Although Aetna covered fertility treatments 100% (no max) I had to transfer any viable eggs I had before they would cover the next round of stimulation/retrieval. I used the PwC fertility insurance and coordinated everything with WIN fertility.
No. You can start with whichever procedure you and your doctor chooses. I’m 33 wks now with my IVF baby! Good luck
Congrats!! So happy for you!

EY does not - hopefully PWC doesn’t require it 🤞🏻
It does not. Went straight to IVF with no IUI rounds or anything, no issue.

It was not required for Deloitte UHC, I skipped right to IVF. I had to have calls with an Optum case manager every few weeks, so they'll provide all of that information :) Fun fact: They do deny putting in two embryos, so the entire transfer portion will not be covered for me
Thank you all SO much!! Really appreciate the insight!!
