Need suggestion which one to choose SAP Ariba or Oracle India as a Java developer with 6.5 years of experience. I have only 10 days for notice period completion. Which is good for WLB ,learning and techstack.

YOE 8, skill business analysis, had HR discussion with IQViA , current CTC 12.36LPa , HR was mentioning as 16.5 fixd and 18lacs CtC.

I said thats too less, and asked to consider 20lacs fixed , which she did not agree, then reduced to 18lacs fixed and said she will checi with management.

Anybody tried to negotiate with IqViA and got a better offer? Will they come back with better offer?

In which month variable component that is 10% will be Paid in ey gds?

Hi! I’m an assurance senior w/ a few engagements under my belt. Interested in moving into industry. Open to a lot of things - internal audit, forensic accounting, real estate or fixed asset accounting, or generally any kind of senior accountant role for an interesting company. I’m in the Philadelphia area - any company reccs?

Also, what should I say my salary expectation is? Already making in the range of $85-88k.

After every busy season, I think about leaving public accounting and/or the firm. I have 5+ years in tax. Anyone switch to audit/consulting from tax? Two busy seasons a year, with barely anytime to chill in between is exhausting. Anyone in private looking to hire someone with a background in federal tax?

Thinking about leaving Big 4 and going into internal audit (currently about to be a Senior in Assurance).

I like working on controls/SOX much more than substantive. I thought about switching internally to advisory and doing internal audit but not sure what the best move is.

I don’t see myself ever doing a technical accounting role or any financial accounting roles. Ideally I would like to transition to more business operations type of roles throughout my career. Any advice is appreciated!

What are the options to move out of internal audit? Currently a manager at a bank and want to explore my options as I am not too passionate about audit. Any idea how to get into tech?

Been in public accounting for a year, and am not sure if this is the place for me. Everyone says to stay until at least senior but I doubt with my anxiety disorder I’ll be able to manage that.
