Also p9, S& director2, 300k and 95k bonus. That's what chaps my ass. And mind you, I worked on 3 of this guys projects this year as a MC resource. If you are going to have us doing s& projects, then pay us s& rates. Makes no sense that I am doing the same job, higher quality of work product, same amount of hours, etc. but making 110k less in total comp.
Just relaying what I was told. It may vary a bit by vertical or practice and for sure a tiny bit by office. They didn't specifically say MBA for director range but a friend of mine (MBA but from non preferred school) was provide a significantly lower range. Granted a different office, but traditionally the geographic differences have been minimal. So much for clarity and transparency with this model...
Don't even get me started on the S& stuff. Part of the reason we had such a terrible year is we had to take a significant write down on that acquisition. And they walk around like their shit doesn't stink.
I keep asking myself, why would anyone want to come here? What is our value prop? We don't offer industry leading or industry standard salaries, our thought leadership is garbage, the firm is so fragmented in terms of culture. Literally why? I was a successful consultant who came from another firm and was recruited heavily by PwC . I accepted the offer because they boosted my salary significantly. I've now since been here 2.5 years, and have the same salary I had coming in. I've received top ratings both years. There can't be anymore excuses, at this point it makes no sense. Now I am forced to find yet another new firm. Shit is tiring.
PwC8 really? Isn't base 135k out of B-School?
Strategy& will be dead in two years, their model is not sustainable.
SA1, NY, No MBA, $99k
If that's what directors make at PwC then I'll stay at manager and bounce. Directors should start out at 200k and get 60-100k in bonus, that's how it is at other firms WE COMPETE WITH
Sounds like me M1, 135, non NY, 5% bonus, promotion with no raise. How do you give someone a completely different job, and not give them a pay bump. This firm sucks.
Let's not diverge from the original post. A separate rant thread can be created by people who are interested. Let's stick to posting $$ here as the op wanted
SA1, Boston, no MBA, $95k, 5% bonus which came out to $3.5k
This was going so well for a while. Well...that's all folks.
SA1 95K
SA1, Non-NY, No MBA, $95k
I place 100% blame on P9, P16 and P18.
SA2A, NYC, no MBA, $105k + $9.2k bonus (T1)
As per my RP SA 95k - 118k; mgr 120k - 168k
*slow clap*
M2A, non NY, 148k, 5% bonus (joke), tier 1. This was my coworkers, they refuse to download fb
SA3, tier2, 140k (5k raise), 8k bonus
Anyone have SA2 non nyc salary?
