Looking for advice on career pivoting as it has been daunting. I have 10-YOE in public policy in Infrastructure financing, governance strategies and financial mgmt. Given my transferable skills, I have narrowed down my career pivot to :
1- Tier-1 consulting firms in strategy or business
2 - Non- technical role in a tech firm interested in fintec, AI and supply chain.

4 ~ years in doing tax compliance for US, made manager in the same group, what should I focus on next that can get me more options when I want to exit in total 6~8 years? Should I consider a rotation right now or focus on gaining that one year mgmt experience ?

I am currently working as a L3 HR associate partner and is looking to move into a L4 HR partner role but my manager keeps saying I should shadow someone in order to know whether the L4 role is for me. Does it make sense that they’re asking me to do this or should I just go ahead and apply for these L4 roles? I kinda feel like it’s a strategy to keep me in my current role. I am a biology graduate. I worked in cancer research and development for more than two years. Recently moved to Canada, and now I'm wanting to transition into clinical research.
Most jobs I find online ask for atleast 2 years clinical experience.
Does anyone have any tips on how to procure this experience? Should I invest in a course? Or should I volunteer at a CRO?
I recently got offered a clinical admin position, would this count as clinical exp?

Working in transactional work in big law, how realistic is it to go reduced hours? Currently I average 50 hours per week and with a baby and a partner in deal work it is not sustainable.
