I do have my masters degree in gerontology and my bachelors in speech communication rhetoric. I am just hoping that someone can offer guidance and some good leads. Looking to get my foot in the door.

Everything to me is a joke, my relationships, love life, and mental health. In the end I got no one and nothing of substance. My parents trigger me, my friend have their own life going. I’m a mess and have very intrusive thoughts that I paint to be comedy. i don’t entertain the thoughts but it would be a quick and jester exeunt

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.
Understanding things have changed there in the last few months, I need un-biased advice from fellow fish who have recently joined or can speak to recent changes

What is the average salary for an account manager in employee benefits at brokers firm? And what about a senior account manager salary? I have 7 years of experience in the health insurance industry. I want to see if I’m on track or if it would be out of line to ask for a raise.

I’ve been in PA for 10+ years, started in tax and audit then moved to forensics. Looking for opportunities in private/industry, but lost on which direction to look. The PA hours and client demands are taking a toll on my family life and health. My main focus is finding a position with a consistent schedule (9-5ish) or just busy season/deadline that are set. Any suggestions?

For diet reasons, I don't drink alcohol. But I drink sodas occasionally. Like at company happy hours, etc. From a health perspective, is this kind of hypocritical? I think they are both nutritionally near 0 value. I do enjoy the taste of soda more than alcohol. But I can't help but feel like if I'm willing to drink sodas, a beer or two a week shouldn't be much different. If anything, it's lower calorie per can lol.

What’s the consensus on tattoos in the insurance workplace? I’m in leadership and considering exploring my options due to recent personnel changes. I work remote and have arm sleeves, and any time I would be in-person I’d of course wear a long sleeve shirt to be professional, but worry about a cuff rolling up and tattoos being somewhat visible. Nothing is offensive by any means.

Need your thoughts :) A very close relative (uncle, aunt) who have been living in US since past ~30 yrs are planning a wedding for their son in US. They’re expecting all close relatives to travel to US to attend the wedding. We are finding it very difficult to get even the visa slots for our parents in India, but again the travel fee, insurance will be very expensive. Having an event in India (just a party) will be very convenient to all, but may not be so for our relatives.

A friend of mine recently got selected for R2R with Accenture. Since she has 1 yr of experience qs a graduate trainee, seems the HR asked her to delete her work experience in the employment form.
Do Accenture not count the experience of a graduate trainee? Please advise since I don't have much knowledge about this.

Has anyone ever heard of this type of real estate private equity fund structure:

-Ability for the Sponsor/Fund to invest directly, indirectly and in equity, debt, Pref, etc.
To me this seems extremely cumbersome and would require multiple classes of (cont’d)

I have an offer to join a Tier 2 consulting firm next year (entry level). However, it seems like they have over-hired and they are now pushing the start date back by a few months. This is not great in itself, as I handed in my notice to my current employer last week, but I was wondering if I should be concerned about further pushbacks or even them withdrawing the offer. Is this something that happens, or will it just be a delay as they say?
