Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

No experience from PwC but assuming it's similar everywhere...99% of client interactions are in London. In my opinion, best is to live in a suburb with good connection to London Bridge since the office is 5 mins walk from there.
Thank you for amazing inputs EY1 ! I will definitely check out.
Looking at Cambridge rent prices, factoring in commute it doesn’t look likely you’d offset costs. People tend to live in Cambridge over London because of the schools. Not sure if it’s a PwC thing but travel is usually done by train in the U.K. so easy access to a well connected station is a good idea.
Exactly my thoughts but got to have reaffirmation, thank you! I have a new born daughter so not looking at schools right away. So London suburbs looks like the right choice.

Don't live in Cambridge
Kings cross station is on the wrong side of London - you will have a 30 min journey the moment you arrive there
Where to live... Depends how much money you have to spend on housing. There are probably some nice places in Wimbledon and/or Richmond if you have money to spend.
Thanks VP1. I will check out these places. I'm looking to spend upto 2k on house rental including council tax for a family of 3 (myself, spouse, new born daughter)
There are plenty of areas in Greater London I would suggest, such as Wimbledon, Surbiton, Battersea. I would suggest somewhere with easy tube access or quick overground trains into central London.
Thank you for the suggestions. Wimbledon is definitely on my list. Will check out the rest!
