So here's the problem I'm in, the CTO and Lead Engineer at my company recently quit (we're a small startup ~ 7-10 engineers) and I was made the Interim Lead Engineer 3 months ago. I now manage all the deployments, code reviews .... etc along with all my previous duties as well, all at my old salary. I want to keep working here as this is a good opportunity but the stress coupled with the lack of clarity about the position are making me alot less interested.

KPMG folks - question regarding onboarding. Is KPMG Launch @ Lakehouse worth attending in person? Is this specific to the group I’m joining or broader firmwide?

They’ve positioned in-person attendance as optional. If not particularly useful, I’d like to avoid traveling as I’ve got a baby at home. Joining as a Director in DAS if that matters.
