The main partner I work for is constantly trying to set “legal traps” to see if I fall into them. For example, he ask me a specific legal question (to which he already knows the answer) to see if I am able to deliver. I’m so nervous now (this has been going on for over a year) that I often end up falling into his trap by doing (stupid) mistakes. What do you advise me to do? My self confidence is slowly getting destroyed. This does not happen with other partners.

Hi, I’m currently working in Infosys (4 YOE). Now I have two offers one from Eurofins(14LPA) and one from EY(16LPA). I wanted to get placed in Product Based. I gave interview in EY thinking its product based but just came to know its service based. Please advise whether I should go for Eurofins as its a product based or EY as its a better offer. Job sharing in professional services is becoming more common. Would it make sense to offer job sharing at the partner level? Benefits a) employee retention (including women 30+ that often choose family over Partner track), b) more available Partner spots which increases retention, c) work life balance, d) 2 vs 1 partner tapping into their network to sell, e) 50% comp but ideally 6 months off. Why wouldn’t it work? Trying to hear different perspectives for and against partner job sharing?

Partners, how have you dealt with burn outs? I am going thru a rough phase and am very close to calling it quits and taking a year break. Did any of you go through something similar in your careers?
