I just showed an ED how to drag and drop a PowerPoint slide into an existing deck because she didn’t know how. I repeat, an EXECUTIVE. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Got picked in the 2018 Cap. Got RFE on Aug 11th. Response to RFE on Nov 5th. No news yet!
In May 2018 my project changed. When can the amendment be filed?
Why is that the guys that I like and them being good in bed are mutually exclusive. Whereas guys I don’t see myself with for long term are really good 😭
I’m being asked about social media specs when I know nothing. Pls help. Where does the primary text character count of 125 live on Instagram stories?

What one “life lesson” keeps you focused on moving forward when you have a setback? Mine: I can’t change the past, but I can try to make the present and future better. Let me focus on that right now.
If you're on a L1 visa, can you switch employers as soon as your Greencard arrives in the mail, or do i need to wait 180 days? Is there a risk of getting the Greencard revoked after it is issued?
Based on the various threads I came across, it appears that it’s best to transfer from tax compliance to M&A tax at the senior level.
I’m up for Manager this fall, and presumably the transfer, either internal or external would not happen until then. Would I be setting myself up for failure if I transfer as a manager? I can’t imagine being successful in managing deals and identifying issues at a manager level..
I’m an M&A associate and would like to eventually be an in-house corporate generalist at a F100 company. Many in-house listings prefer experience with commercial/licensing agreements and I’m now unsure if I’m in the right group. I’m also considering a lateral move and wondering whether I should target 1) V15 firms with top-ranked M&A practices or 2) lower-ranked firms that may be able to offer me some tech transactions/licensing experience. In short, will M&A get me to where I want to be?
About to go on a flight tomorrow but our toddler has a slight runny/congested nose and some sneezing. Hoping it passes but how do I get in touch with American Airlines to potentially change my flight in the case that he is actually sick? Flight is tomorrow but current ETA for a call back is Weds. They should be able to issue credits or change the flight days after we no-show?
Also I’m guessing the airline will not allow us to get on the plane given these symptoms even if he wears a mask?
Anyone from big 4 who joined a small local firm? Could you please share your experience? A recruiter reached out to me about a manager role to fill in. The firm has only been running for 6 years and pretty much only has one tax team.
Senior crew on United. Perfect hospitality. 3 Jacks on the house. Thank you United crew.
Right, so, how are we feeling this fine weekend?
I’m planning on going for a master program, still debate on the programs of data science/business analytics or computer science. I like math, and love logic. I saw some people say “going to data science route is a rabbit hole”, why is that? Did many people go into that field and regretted? Why? Also, even though some people say, if you have cs degree, you can still get Data science job.
Is that true? But cs degree don’t offer a lot of math related/analytics related courses. Comments? Thx
