Have two offers and unsure which to take. Ex Big 4 and have done software startups since. Option 1: Director role back in Big 4. Good package. Good fit with my area of expertise, focusing on tech solutions and partnering with startups. Working across all industries and clients. Option 2: Big Tech/GAFAM (level = L6 google/e6 FB/65 Microsoft, which I’m told is Director equivalent) Even better package. Account Technology Strategist. Less client diversity but using breadth of their tech.
Have 2 job offers. Company A is for a senior accounting position thats close to me, but i’m not too interested in doing reconciliations (the main task of the position). There is room to change departments after 1-2years though Company B is for a revenue and rev ops accountant, however, it requires relocation (100+miles). I love the culture of company B’s team but moving away from family and friends isn’t something I really want. Comp pretty similar so that’s not a big factor. curious, WWYD?

Mgr at D & hoping to move over to MBB for a variety of reasons. Should I target Manager or Associate level? Hear it’s tough to build up a network the M level at MBB and that consultants move 1 level down when moving over. Is this truth to this or just disguised elitism lol?
Need advice on whether or not to use an MBA consultant. Any opinions / thoughts appreciated! Situation: just turned down a promotion and quit my job because it doesn’t align with my career goals and was becoming a waste of time.
