Pwc5....we've already had people promoted post-integration during our mid year from Associate to SA....they got the level set....I'll never lie to you
It's one of the hardest promotions to go directly from Associate to Senior Associate at S& because the firm is essentially saying that you don't need to get a MBA but they pay you like you have one. The jump in base pay is 47% from A3 to SA1 (100K to 147K). The levels are set. No bands.
Unknown with the new cohort system. Wait for numbers to come out
100k is what I'm afraid of. Way too little pay for the work IMHO
Anyone have any ideas what to expect as an A3? I'm currently an EA not up for promo
Curious too. Following.
What did someone get last year?
PwC3, not true. Where you are on the salary band is important. If your mid on the salary band, a % jump to SA will be greater than if you were higher on the EA pay band.
S&....pay is fixed at all levels. There are not supposed to be bands. SA1 makes 147 base and max bonus if 1 and funded 100% is supposed to be 32%
I went from 84k-100k but the bonus was not as impressive as I thought it would be
They are, there is a lot of ambiguity around all of it right now. I've only been on S& projects the last year, and was told they may move me over. I doubt Id be promoted, moved and then jump from 85k to 147k. If I do, then hell yeah. I won't complain.

Depends on where you were on the pay scale for an EA
What's your current salary?
OP asked percentage. Current salary/ where in pay scale shouldn't be as relevant. A percentage range should answer the question.
Correct PwC 5.
@PwC5 : range
Fine. 10-30%. Not very helpful
30% would be a massive race
^ true. Right behind Asia in terms of global distribution. Wait are we still talking about $?
