Should I get a CPA if I don't plan on pursuing audit whatsoever? I was recently offered positions such as M&A and TAS at two different firms and I plan on following that relative pathway. Thoughts?

News says many are poised to resign if going back to the office will be the norm. There are many vacant roles in LinkedIn and other job-hunting sites and yet few people are getting hired. Is the algorithm of recruitment software to blame that misses matching qualified persons with companies and roles? Is this keyword guessing the culprit that's why your CV in pdf format does not make the cut?

The question seems obvious, how do you not show your team that you're pushy/desperate but also show them they need to get the work done? Trying to influence who is quite high up in terms of seniority.

What would you do about a client that never follows timelines even when it's an urgent project?
I am STRUGGLING with my account team. Our lead is out 3-4 days every week and his junior is not able to cover, mixed with a lot of work is not clicking. I’m trying to go empathy first, but it’s pulling a lot of projects, off process, off timeline, off budget. Any advice?
What’s your hourly rate for web development and where are you located? If you’re able to share, I’d really appreciate it. My agency is trying to figure out how to strike a balance in quoting website projects. We’re based in New Orleans and are not looking to gather comp set data. We just need some validation.
Are there any PMs with ADHD? I am not a dedicated PM, but I manage my company’s PM team and have the hardest time assisting them because of my ADHD. As somebody who thrives in disorganized chaos, crafting timelines, to dos, and organizing information into a project management system is physically painful for me…
What did your agency’s processes look like before covid? What part of the process did you find to be absolute gold, the game changer, the thing that made it work and work so well?
And what part of the process was it that failed the most and why? How you navigate around the pitfalls of the process?
And how have your processes changed (for the better or worse) during Covid?
I'm currently a Client Relations Manager in a role that is more like a product manager role with 2 years experience managing a significantly large client list. I'm not loving being a CRM but it's provided me great experience. Previously I have 10 years of media planning and video production experience. I would like to study for a project manager certification to be able to apply for in-house marketing project manager roles. Any recommendations on part time courses? I'm based in the Bay area.

Anyone ever struggle with knowing the right course of action, but having your team constantly ignore your opinions and reccos?
It's like the opposite of The Boy Who Cried Wolf. I'm warning over and over about the wolves, but it's not until they start eating our sheep that the team even cares. (Bear with me on the analogy lol)
How do you folks handle this? I have an "I told you so" moment literally every day. Should I let go and just let the team learn the hard way?

This won’t be a popular answer, but most people on my team (including myself) hate meetings, but only because every PM in the office schedules status meetings with teams that work across accounts and that adds up to a good chunk of time every week spent in a standup.
What I’ve done is had more face to face chats with team leads and posted recaps in the slack channels for the team (assuming the channel doesn’t move so fast that it gets buried). It’s more day to day work for the PM and requires follow up but I’ve found people react better when I don’t take up space on their calendars.
My teams always responded to a scrum better than a “status”. Make a scrum wall!
...and I’m managing 25+ individual workstreams staffed by 30+ people across various depts. This group sits and works all over the agency and their responsibilities cross over the entire business. There’s not a natural divide in the work to allow people to drop into status and different times for different info.
I want status to feel like a positive use of time but most people struggle through it. Anybody have any suggestions about managing a giant group like this without them feeling like I’m wasting their time on updates that don’t apply to them?
I agree w SPM 1.
