Question about754 depreciation. I feel confused when receive Lower tier K1 with sometime shows as 13v; but sometime shows at 20ah as other information. How to treat correctly in these situations(13v and 20ah)

20AH is informational and doesn’t hit taxable income, 13V does. However in practice most people reclass 11F and 13V to line 1, since tiering it is weird.

Yes 20AH is just informational to provide the shareholder their remaining 743 basis since it’s no longer included in capital. I know some tax softwares don’t have the option in the partnership pass through screen to input 20 AH from the receiving K-1. But it’s not necessary to add or create a separate footnote for.

I just found out that my CPA failed to file my returns and submit payment on time even though they confirmed on the 18th that it was going to be filed that day. How does one find direction in what they want to do in life? I don’t find my job as a tax manager fulfilling and my busy time conflicts with some of my favorite hobbies, skiing and snowmobiling. I find it hard to determine my next step because I’m all about relationships, love my clients and am a sales/big picture thinker, so naturally industry doesn’t interest me. It seems like everyone is in agreement that switching firms gives you a salary boost, but that you could be viewed as someone that doesn’t stick around.
