I interviewed with apple for their global supply manager role. I had 1 phone screening with a recruiter, 2 phone calls with senior levels managers, and one super interview day with 4-5 senior managers in different areas of the company, taking about 2-3 hours. It was fairly demanding, especially the super interview day and I can’t say I felt it was really necessary. Everyone seemed fairly pressed for time and either came to the interview late or left early. It was a little demeaning. My ideal interview experience would be 2 meetings max.

For Facebook and Amazon it was the typical process. Which was the H.R. screening, meeting with hiring manager, then the last round with a panel. Depending on how senior the role is at Amazon there’s an assessment before you talk with H.R. Also the last round can last for a few hours. So I will say Amazon is grueling for that reason.
I wonder why so many interviews. Why it takes so long? You can be in an interview process for months.
