I have close to 13 years of experience predominantly working on Java J2ee application development and have been working on system design and solutions from past 2 years.

Is rolled off from project common in CG ?
I was hired 4 months back for specific project , was working from very 1 week of hire, now i am going to move to bench. Though i am happy but i also very worried as how much time it take to find next project, if i will get project as per tech i want to work.
How is internal hiring system in CG.

It's been a real struggle for me. I hate catch ups and meetings and presentations. But necessity breeds competency. Do it enough and you get rid of the anxiety.
Another vote for the SME/specialist strategy. If you're the expert or the leader, you can dictate how much face time you have to give to the group.
