Anyone have a good IP lawyer you use?
I would say if you can, delegate more projects to your subordinates. Figure out which meetings do you really need to go to vs. just reading the meeting notes. Book time on your calendar to have 1:1s with your team on a regular basis but not to the detriment of client deliverables. They should be able to run on their own enough without too much oversight. If not, empower them to do so.
Focus on management responsibilities and delegate client work. Mgmt work leads to promotions, whereas day to day client work won't get you noticed.
Book every 15 minute increment on your calendar. Mix of actual meetings, project working time, and 1:1 time. Also makes filling out the time sheet easier at the end of the day.
