At the very least, I'd expect high quality equipment. Stipend for home office is a nice perk as well.

like

Agreed, I see the tech as a basic must have and the extra for equipment as being a nice bonus but also expected really, I think as an industry its starting to become the norm, we have it where I work but not at other places Ive worked

I think more flexible schedules like four day weeks or early morning starts would be nice

like

Yep this is something I think is also really needed to help with diversity as well, Ive always thought core hours at least 10-4 or similar is a basic must have

currently thinking of quititng my current role (which. just started) due to lack of flexibility. Home office stipend is nice, as is letting me work out of a different country every so often. Better pay ofc.

When I interviewed with them, I mentioned that I travel quite a bit and they were totally cool with it. Got hired and once I started, they told me they expect everyone to be in "commutable distance" and wouldn't approve my request work from another country :(

Your resume is the last thing you should work on in your job search. HR departments have software that filters 1000s of resumes based on keywords. Don’t waste hours finding keywords for your resume so an algorithm “picks” yours. Don’t stuff your LinkedIn profile with keywords and hope a recruiter “finds” you. Build relationships with hiring managers and hr recruiters at your target companies. You’ll have a better chance landing the job if the people who will hire you know you already.
