Question, I’ve been an AE for a few years now and I’m looking to switch paths from an account executive to a partnerships manager, seems like a better fit. anything I should know about the differences or the transition?

I think it's more about culviating long-term business relationships more than anything else...or well, more like looking for mutually beneficial opportunities which can feel different than sales

Slightly different skill set for sure. Requires a lot more patience and expertise in your industry to talk to other companies and their decisionmakers. But sales is a great segueway.

My husband and I start to grow apart. Our growth pace is not the same. I have a better career and earn 3-4 times more than him. He feels insecure. It is very difficult for us to communicate to each other. The idea of divorce comes to my mind for the past few months - since we don’t have kids. Any suggestions are welcome.

Can we talk about the logic behind paying $2400 a week for a travel nurse but being unwilling to even give your staff nurses annual cost of living raises? Maybe if you’d pay your staff nurses well you wouldn’t have to spend $2400+ on a travel nurse.

My situation is a bit unique so I was looking for some advice. I have an MBA and close to 1 YOE. I started at my company doing coordinator level work but when my supervisor left, both me and the other coordinator were moved to Generalists. We are being paid 51k to oversee all HR functions including recruitment for 300+ employees. Am I being underpaid, despite lack of experience?

My colleague and I work very well together. We come from the same background so we do our jobs very well. Lately, we are finding that we are taking on more and more work from other departments because they aren’t doing their jobs. This has taken away from some of our primary roles and responsibilities. We feel like we both deserve a significant pay increase but our budget is tight. Any advice?

The company I work for (SaaS) has little to no inbound leads coming in. We mostly do outbound work. At the top of your head, what do you think could be the main reasons for this?

I’m looking to hire the best outside sales talent in Indiana. Would be open to remote work for the right superstar. First year OTE is 150k, 2nd year OTE is 350k. My top rep this year will make over $850k. SAAS company, super high growth. Serious inquiries only please!

I have been with my company 20+ years. This past year they did a sales market restructure - directions from new upper management. The restructure has been less than favorable toward my commission goals. The coming years don’t look promising. There are sales people making $$$ only here 1-2 years because they were given all my opportunities. It is hard to leave this company - it has been great until now with the changes. I have a very strong job offer elsewhere - but worried about non compete.

I have a resume question!

I have 10 plus years of sales experience and 7 in an AE senior AE role however, when applying to positions that I know I am more than qualified for my resume is getting bot rejected before it even gets viewed. I am not sure why other than I do not have my b.a as I decided to pursue sales full time while in college and did not finish. This has not stopped me from getting interviews before , any ideas on how to get around the bots?

Looking for some guidance/feedback. I’m currently a director of sales at a mid size Saas firm. I scaled the sales team from 3 to 52. Been a director for 3 years with same company and watched 3 vps and 2 directors come and go. There’s limited to no growth opportunity. So I started the hunt. I have a panel interview with the CEO/cro/ and cmo for a smallish >50 employees. I’m going for a vp of sales... Any ideas on what kind of questions I should prepare myself for?

Hey everyone! I am a student finishing up my last year at university. I was working in real estate and then became a loan officer for 2 years. I made a switch from mortgages to a food supply wholesaler as a regional sales/project manager managing the accounts for a couple states. I thought it would be pretty steady compared to how volatile interest rates and the finance realm is rn. Can anyone offer insight into the food supply market right. Ik everything is pretty crazy and it’s all relative.🤝

Hi all I'm interviewing for a role as a BDR in Dublin in cloud computing. I graduated in 2020 (bachelors) and have worked as a sales manager at a store. They offer € 33k/year and € 22k in commission with relocation fees etc.
It seems like a great company and I'm really interested. Is the salary good for Dublin? And for someone starting their career?
