Question on Canadian employment law…
We need to update the salary of our Canadian team members - are they legally entitled to a signed contractual addendum or is a less formal written confirmation (eg email) okay?

So I am at my first job after college. They lied about a lot of things. It is not diverse, it is not inclusive. Other issues is the management is clueless and I’m contemplating weather I should start looking for other jobs after only being here for 5 months. I would have to pay back relocation and bonus unless I stay here for 2 years. Any thoughts? I need advice on this

I’m an audit manager at a local PA firm in Chicagoland area. I’m having difficulty figuring out if my salary is within the current market for my position/experience. Our titles/levels are a bit off compared to bigger firms. Perhaps someone on here can share their insight?

Does anyone else feel like they are just falling behind with the price increases for our big ticket items such as cars and homes? Like I started working in 2017 and I realized I couldn’t make it the way I wanted on $105k so now I’m at around $250k and I got some rentals but all of the homes in my area have doubled in price since 2020 so from $500k to $1m or above so I feel like I’m still just as financially tight now and cars seem just as unobtainable as when I first started.
