Question re: recruiter or advisor. I am a non-technical PM (working towards the cert). I would like to hire someone review my resume and let me know realistically what kind of companies/positions I should be perusing. Are there career advisors or recruiters who offer this service? TY for any response and apologies if this is the wrong bowl.

Hello Fishes,
Just a little weird question, suggestions will be helpful.
My cousin wants to enter into the IT industry but his graduation is from non Tech (B.A). So I have suggested him to persue and MBA in IT or MCA may be from distance learning will also help.
Please give suggestions which will be the most feasible way to enter the IT industry, given that he is financially not much sound but he is very smart and hardworking.

In case of the latter can you guys suggest lucrative technologies which has little/no coding and can definitely give good packages? Need some advice: Last year I left consulting to take a job in industry (a pay cut, but more freedom, WLB). Due to covid I switched to yet another company (same industry). It’s been half a year at the new place and I absolutely hate it. Not the work, but the company genuinely sucks. Considering a) mba for next fall (just as a reset) or b) job hopping yet again. I’m so demoralized that the past two industry jobs have gone so badly. I’m starting to regret not just staying in consulting...

I work as an Information System Security Officer. I've been in this position for a few years now. I've been wanting to do something more technical lately (cloud computing/ethical hacking), but I'm not sure how to make the leap. The ISSO function entails a lot of paperwork, security enforcement, auditing, and reporting. I recognize the significance of the position, but to be honest, I find it tedious. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I recently asked for tips on a interview position because it is a career change for me and I just had the interview! It was on Teams; no video. It went well, he said he had two other interviews but that the recruiter would be in touch.

We didn’t discuss salary, I had few questions and I explained that he went into such great detail about the role and the team— so my questions were limited. I hope that this isn’t one of those times I kicked myself.
