Been on FMLA / short term disability for 3 months and doctor recommended 1.5 months extension. My firm refused the extended leave but we’re unable to provide reasons what the under hardship for the firm is. They are pressing me hard for alternative ada accommodation (anything but continuous leave) so I can get back to work. If not they will terminate me next day. Is it legal?

I’m currently working at a law firm in San Diego specializing in coastal property rights as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant. We received a minute order from a preliminary injunction hearing. Our client was ordered to post an injunction bond of $2,500. First our client walked to the courthouse to try to pay the bond up front, but they would not accept his money. He tried to call several bond companies, but all said the amount was too small. So how do you post an injunction bond?
Is it bad to have basic salary less compared to flexible pay. If the basic is 30% of gross, it's a government rule to have basic as 40 - 50% of gross which the company is not following and not ready to change the structure. I heard the advantage as in hand salary will be more in that case. But what are the disadvantages of this.
How do I learn to accept my role in the company and "slow down" career wise. I am used to quick promos and my new company is hiring someone with equal product exp to a more senior role than me, likely due to his 3 more yrs of overall experience. I have an awesome opportunity to apply for a promotion that would give me additional responsibilities but a faster track to leadership. I am also 10 weeks pregnant with my first confirmation appt next week. Help & suggestions please. I don’t have parents and recently had a kid. I am having trouble in recovery and my daughter is a preemie. I am going back to work in December but can’t send kid to daycare due to health. My aunt who raised me wants to visit and help me out , see places too. With the travel ban going away , can she get a visitor visa so that I have someone reliable in the house along with the new nanny. Are visitor visas possible to get now ? MIL is another option but she is aged.
Would it be a bad move to leave B4 FDD for somewhere like A&M or HL or Riveron as a soon to be A2? I’m being recruited and their practice seems to be growing like crazy so I see it as being a good opportunity to ride the growth and get paid more in the meantime. Any advice?
