Anyone interested in a DC Meetup?
Hi everyone, I'm comparing two offers from Accenture and Cognizant. Could you help me figure out some of these questions: 1. At 5 YOE, what kind of package can I expect? Current offers: Accenture (12LPA fixed, 2.5L variable), Cognizant (14.3LPA fixed, 45K variable) 2. Nature of work - What kind of work can I expect from these companies? 3. would I get the opp to use any authoring Tools? 4. Work life balance - which is better? 5. Increments - avg % hike? 6. Culture - which is better?
Can I buy you a purse after our date?

Probably up to $4K / month. But I mean, there are lots of variables. Have you done a budget?
As a point of reference, I'm on $225K base with a $4.5K / month mortgage payment and I save about $3.5k / month.
But everybody has different savings targets, expenses, and liesure preferences.
I thought you had asked how little could you spend while staying safe. Which is also a valid question. 😄
We have a Total household income of 450K and spend 3.3K on a 2BR2BA. With 210K we were paying $2600 per month. Idk if I’d feel comfortable going over 3K with 210K with my lifestyle
All depends on your other fixed monthly expenses like car payments too. If you have no car, you can afford more
thanks for your comment. Right now we pay 1.8k and we plan to stay in that small apartment for another year. I hope we can put some good money aside and next year we evaluate the situation again.
