I caution anyone on putting exact names. I have always gone with “$XMM National Insurance Provider” for a big insurance company deal I worked on, etc.
You shouldn’t be putting the name of any deals or mentioning them. You can put the industry and size of the deal or size of the company (ex. F500) if you really want to specify.
Idk about you but the confidentiality policy at my company prohibits us from discussing deals before, during, and after it’s been completed. You might want to check yours.
No names on resume
I thought it was commonplace for bankers/other advisors to list their deals if there was a public announcement/PR statement. E.g. “JP Morgan served as book runner on the global ipo of XYZ industries”
Consultants are not usually mentioned on these announcements
Typically no names but if the details are public, i dont see a reason to hide. Proprietary info is a non starter
