It will be between Final Fantasy 7 or Chrono Trigger for me. No other game has ever made me feel more immersed into its universe.

Lately it’s just been Smash Ultimate.

I am level 1 resource. Need classroom management ideas. We've been placed on a block schedule this year due to Covid so I have students for 85 minutes every other day. I have a larger group who are all working at different levels and have different goals. I am constantly jumping from one student to another trying to work them but I am failing. I can't keep them on task, quite, or motivated. If I walk away from one, they're immediately messing around. Group work is a joke. HELP!

I am in a self-contained cross category room. Grades 2-4. We have kiddos who need to be placed in therapeutic schools but those schools are understaffed due to Covid — their staff found other jobs during the shutdown—and so can’t take them. Several of our kids are huge. I have been slammed hard on the back, chased around the room to hit me, kicked, bitten, clawed, hair pulled. Is anyone else experiencing heightened behaviors?

Off topic~~
why govt is taking 30 percent tax man …. ??Still a developing country and want to tax their citizens like a developed country. Just giving two shots of Covid vaccines free doesn’t mean you can charge 30% tax.

I have heard somewhere that even indirect taxes that they take through GST is enough to run the government and country… I think 10 percent tax is more than enough on all salary brackets above 10 lac in india.

What would you all do; worked with an agent for 6 months before rates increased and paused my home search, a family member later reached out because they are an agent and offered their services. First agent is part time and has experience. The family member is full time, has a few year experience and mentioned they had access to of market listings before it hits the mls. (Also mentioned they can get homes for pre Covid prices but feel like that’s a stretch at this time).

Ok, I'm biased because I'm voting character this year. I think a good leader empowers people to do better and come together and has an empathetic voice that connects on a human level. I have yet to see that in Trump even when I was desperately searching for it in him in the early days of covid. However, how do people think Biden will destroy this country? I understand if you don't agree with his policy, but he's not a socialist and maybe the worst thing about him is obamacare which trump...

Today is Tuesday. I haven't spoken to another person in real life since late Saturday night. I haven't been more than 1000 ft from my building since Sunday night when I went to the gym. I've chatted with people online, however. It's so not enough. I could've gone to a meetup last night but I was too tired and wanted to work on a data science course I'm taking. Made a run to the supermarket lastnite

I feel so isolated. How did people do this during Covid? How do people continue living like this?

There were 3 COVID positive cases in the infant room at daycare and it’s closed for 2 weeks. This is the second time that it’s happened this year. Deloitte offers backup care but we have to wait until we get our negative test results first. Baby girl seems fine but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Work is going to be challenging for the next few days since my husband and I both have demanding jobs.

Hey everyone! Wanted to get color on whether a move from REPE to corporate/non-RE IB is feasible, specifically for execution groups like M&A, LevFin etc.

Background: non-target (some alumni on the street), REPE acquisitions, looking to move around the 1 year mark (joined team out of UG a couple of months ago)

I understand that an MBA would be the best way to pivot, but assume that it's off the table for now. Would appreciate any insight!
