8 o'clock meeting in the client site, caught an early flight and planned to get some sleep on the flight. The fucking baby next to me started crying his lungs out. FML.

LEK 🐟 what % of the time do you work on client site / travel? Have spoken to someone in your Australia office who said that they work from your offices 80% of the time. Is it the same in the US?
(1/2) I started a new job less than a month ago at a large firm with a significant pay increase. I work remotely- which is a special arrangement. They paid for my travel to their headquarters for in-person training. After interacting with my manager and some of the attorneys, I feel like I made a mistake. Manager is demeaning and rude. A bunch of the attorneys dropped not so subtle hints that people who work from home are causing all kinds of problems. I don’t know what to do.
Gotta travel coast to coast next week. Any advice on making it as comfortable as possible? Work will reimburse coach, even a premium coach option if available. I'm considering paying for an upgrade after I purchase, if $800 or so can get me into first class. Airline and plane recommendations? Who has the best premium economy, or best upgrade options? Is a 777 gonna be a different experience than a 757? Time of day recommendations or other tips for having a pleasant trip are also welcome.
I feel like Marriott Bonvoy is only getting worse. I was assigned a new ambassador, who would intentionally wait for one business day before responding to my email questions tbc

Overnight layover with some buddies in Doha - any suggestions for St Regis or the W? Landing around 11pm and leaving at 9am we just want to go clubbing and party before the next flight.
Been practicing a year now. Of 6 attorneys, 4 will be retiring soon, and I was brought in to hopefully take over. I am troubled: first that my partners largely provide me with no guidance. They handed me a client with a large quantity of fairly straightforward casework and have been hands off since. There also hasn’t been any talk of a raise/performance review. How should I ask for guidance/mentor ship? How do I ask for a raise, or should I presume one is coming?
PHR or SHRM-CP?
Guys. How much approx does monthly or biweekly health insurance comes up to in SF paycheck?
Ad agency designer desperately looking for an out but I have a possible new job opportunity. Here is my dilemma: Pros.... more money, no crazy client demands, pitches or decks or even prospective clients that will go nowhere (in-house), better benefits Cons.... this is a big one - it’s healthcare I’ve been at agencies with a range of clients for the past few years. Career suicide taking an in-house healthcare job? Especially if role focuses more on growth & performance over design?
one of my biggest personal accomplishments this year was telling my team that i’m taking a day off for a mental health day. i know that doesn’t seem that big, but i’ve always felt guilty for wanting to take a personal day for my mental health. i’m fortunate enough to have a team that is receptive and understanding of it.
2 months on the bench now, and I'm starting to freak out. Projects are picking people that are either local or have more relevant experience than me.
I am currently going through the Client Success Manager interview process located in Dallas, Tx and I would love to connect with current employees with Gartner.
Need advice: have been interviewing for a strat role. Did a case in late December. Someone left the team in new year so they have to reevaluate their org structure. Recruiter and director keep reaching out to confirm interest and just spoke to director. They won’t have an answer for 2-3 weeks now but still like me. Job is still open on LinkedIn. Are they going to hire me or not?
