This is literally what they did to me. I told them to screw off since they are slow af and the market is hot so didn’t want to wait around to be their puppet

Let me know if you want referral to Deloitte

They all must be on vacation with that new unlimited PTO!!
The hate on HR is too real. 😜
Do you really want to work for a Company that treats prospective employees in that manner? Seems like a red flag anywhere else.
That’s also a great point. I’m sure the whole company does very well, and maybe it’s just this recruiter who’s a bit busy or has other personal matters as well. Thank you very much!
Same happened to me. Initial call told me we could be done with the whole process within a week and a half.
2 weeks later I had still only had the initial phone screening and just went with another offer
I was in the same boat and still am! I hope you found greener pastures. 😇
Similar thing happened to me! I submitted my application to, interviewed with, and received an offer letter from PwC before EY even reached out to schedule my interviews. Lol
Holy smokes! I’m glad I’m not the only one then haha. 😭
I'm sorry that you have had a poor experience with our recruitment process, presumably they are either on holiday or similarly understaffed. I hope they get back to you with an offer. It is a good firm to work for but can appreciate it must feel frustrating at the moment.
Thank you very much! I just hope for the best and seeing where this takes me. 🦾

My experience with EY recruiting has been that's it's been a hot mess. Seems like change to new system has created a lot of issues
Change will hopefully be good for them in the long term, but it’s definitely taking a toll now. 😔
Applied to KPMG, Deloitte and EY at the same time. By the time I finished all 4 rounds of interview for KPMG & Deloitte and offer letters finalized, EY decided to reach out with the initial screening call lol u kinda late bruh
Bruhhh that’s insane. But great job and holy smokes to you. You killed it and I hope you’re doing very well now. 😇
I had an experience kinda sort of like this with industry. Spoke to HR recruiter, had a blast. He said he just needs to get approval from management to move on to next round. He said it may take a day or two. He didn’t hear back for weeks and said “I guess we will just move on with other candidates” and apologized that he couldn’t get a reply.
Well, it’s all good because I found another job thats more prestigious and pays almost double (all in with bonus).
Congratulations that’s amazing!
I was surprised to know HR take their time even though we’re severely understaffed…
Oh man - I’m sorry to hear but I hope your busy season doesn’t get the best of you. You got this! 🙌
Depends on cycle and the need of the team and the recruiter.
I was reached out in January- interviewed in February and got start date offer for March.
Hmmm very true. I’m in tax so I guess they might not need people until after 10/15. Thank you for that insight!
Same things happened to me and I eventually told them no once the interview came in.
Kudos to you! I had my interview about two weeks after first contact, but the waiting game after has been ridiculous. 🤷♂️
Same thing happened to me and had to think about it once I finally got the offer. After working here, I’m glad I accepted.
Thank you and all the best!
Idk why but i got mine 3 hours later after the interview lol
