Hello Fishes, I am new here and would like your inputs on the Grade, Designation & Basic salary in TCS. 1. Is the Grade - 'C3B' & Designation - 'ASC - Associate Consultant' correct for 11 years and 6 months of experience ? 2. And is the Basic salary offered in TCS very less than the Market standard? Thanks in Advance 🙏🏼

Hardly a data point w/o your level and TC at Bain
Indeed!
That is a statement not a data point. If you were making 320 K, you don’t have a lot of room unless you get into senior roles. Most people don’t make 320 K

It depends on how well paid you are for your area. I’m stuck at my comp until I get to around 10 years then I can make a jump from 320 to 430 but there isn’t anything for me until I pass that experience gap so I agree that it can be good or sometimes strategic to get paid the same especially if you believe the new role will develop a better skillset
For most people who are being paid like $80-200k they should focus on getting at least a 20-30% jump with each job hop
