Do you think that I could get Deloitte to pay for a Masters of Science in Social Work as part of their tuition reimbursement program (not GSAP)?
Slolam in general? However specifically LA?
Does anyone notice how there is a stigma against have a significant other without a corporate job? My boyfriend and I have been out of college for about two years and as a personal trainer he makes almost double what I make as a consultant. When I tell people at work he’s a PT they act unimpressed and insinuate I’m supporting us financially.
Left leaning 🐠 here. Spending my mornings listening to Fox News. Some interesting perspective, and shows me how truly divided we are, unfortunately
My manager has a must respond to my emails within 2 hours rule. Sometimes she sends them at 8pm. 3 of my team associates decided to reported her to HR for it. These new hires have no chill anymore in this economy.
High school GPA 2.8, community college GPA 3.6, transferred to a top 20 University GPA 2.0. Big 4 Consultant. GMAT 740. My goal is Northwestern for an MBA. Any chance? Or any other top 15 MBA program?
Leetcode or GMAT/MBA? (Assuming you can code in general/CS background and want to exit to big tech)
Looks like a massive Exodus happened in Deloitte? Trying to staff a project and there is literally no one to staff with (at least Salesforce practice) and we are having to reach out to contractors. Is this a result of layoffs that happened last year and folks are purely unhappy with pay (not considering project pressure as that can vary/be subjective)? For folks who have been here for a long time, is this a common occurrence or is it especially bad this time around?
Has anyone here worked at a role where they aren't doing decks/excel every week? I've always wondered what it's like to be doing something that's not deck focused. Did you enjoy it? What did you do?
Is it an overkill to send my resume to a partner before an intro/networking call after joining the firm? Want to create a good impression and try to get impactful client work
At your firm, what is the “lead” time between the contract getting signed and the project kickoff?
Good business podcasts for people without backgrounds in business? I’m headed to B-school in the fall and would love any suggestions to help me get in the mindset.
