Other perks(telecommuting perks and stock options) at PWC 3. vacation time and sick leave at PWC 4. Bonus compensation (Yearly / Mid year Bonus, Joining Bonus) Thanks!!
I’m so anxious about my 485 case. The RFE for medical records have been received since March 2021 and there has been no update since then. I’ve talked to Emma and Tier 2, they just say it’s with in normal processing time, which can be up to 33 months. Not sure if there is any better way to know more about that processing status.
Has anyone worked for a company that produces/researches CBD for medical use? And...would you say it’s Pharma?
Does anyone teach with an autoimmune disease/medical condition? What are some of your best tips for taking care of yourself?
I'm tired of getting certifications. Anyone else sick of them? Especially if it's just exam cram. So many people have certs but dont know anything when working on engagements
If you started working at a company for like a year as a staff level, for example 2019-present, and this is reflected on LinkedIn, do you guys update any promotions to show it as (the date or year of promotion) -present... or just show it as 2019-present? I’ve seen people do the latter more but is that even right?
Filled out the bare minimum for my self assessment. I don’t care about promotion anymore, I’m trying to leave as soon as possible.
Is the main advantage of applying to mba early simply to literally start making more sooner? Is it easier when you’re younger? I’m fortunately not in a rush to apply and I think next year my app will be stronger, my income is not gonna be much higher post mba, I’ll have another promotion, better recs, and less debt to take on. What am I missing?
Looking for recommendations for a rear facing car seat that reclines well. Currently have a Nuna rava. My first was fine with it, but my 2nd (who is 1+) seems to get car sick and pukes on longer trips. She loves her nuna pipa infant seat though (basically lying down) and never gets sick in that. We're keeping her in the pipa for as long as possible, but I need to find a convertible option soon. Curious what other moms in similar situations picked.
Ask for career advice - my MSA friend started in industry as staff tax accountant four years ago and never really got promoted but got 10% raise after all these years. (to be continued)
People accepted counter offer and got higher pay and raise again. Should I also do this? Is it ethical? I’m in tax NYC office.
Any “jr” level copywriter who believes that they are mid level and haven’t got the promotion yet? I’m looking for someone to partner up with and apply places in California. if anyone is interested leave your website and I can check it out! Will contact you from there !
Hey Folks - Any one use their FSA $ towards a dietitian or nutritionist? If so, could you share your experiences? I'm considering Working Against Gravity but I don't think we can use our FSA. It also appears 'nutritionist' is unregulated and a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is needed for the expense of a nutritionist's services.
If I accept the promotion to Partner/Principal what's the least number of years I could work without it being a financial mistake. I have an opportunity to do something completely unrelated that's my passion, but I feel like that's the wrong decision when I'm this close. The other opportunity should still be there for 2-3 years
My PA CPA license is currently in process. I need to get licensed in IL as that’s my home state now but couldn’t apply directly due to not meeting IL education requirements. Should I atleast get my IL application started and submitted and submit the PA license to them whenever I get it? I know it takes like 2 months for them to even get to your application. I’m working up against a promotion so time is essential
Can you negotiate a promotion after the fact, if you don't get it at year end, if your manager and leadership on your team all agrees/supports you? (Not currently in this situation, but curious)
Skin advice: Not trying to get too medical here. But, I’ve been having bacne (and related pigmentation) on upper back and upper arms. Doctors have called it Keratosis Pilaris. I’ve tried multiple things but nothing REALLY seems to work. Any tips / suggestions?
Captain: "Welcome to LAX...our gate is occupied, should be just a few more minutes." Shocker...

I'm interviewing with S& Deals, but I've never actually done a structured case interview. 🤣 Where do I go to learn?

Any copywriters here who have published novels? I'm set to finish my 4th rewrite by end of year and hopefully shop it around soon. If I manage to get it published, you think I could translate it into a raise somehow? Also, would love any general advice -- on querying, on finding beta readers, or craft books you'd recommend. Save the Cat is my plotting bible, and I also love Self-Editing for Fiction Writers. Any other recs?

Hey fish! Have a question on work authorization. If I have an H1B and wife’s on the dependent EAD (after I-140) and I go out of country to work with same company. Does her EAD still continue to be valid? Or does it invalidate the moment the primary visa holder is out of the US.
Some call it quitting on your team, U.S. Gymnastics are calling it mental health issues. I'm calling it something more specific related to sports psychology: the yips. It's bad athletic performance having the yips, but when continuing can turn you into the next Elena Mukhina, backing out is the right call. Alternate history: Simone continues on, manages not to break her neck, but absolutely s**ts the bed and is criticized for taking the US off the podium when knew she wasn't on her game.
To all fishes that went from T2 to MBB - did you notice a big difference in quality, standards, people worked with, or anything else? Trying to understand why MBB is MBB beyond name-brand and prestige.
