Rallied hard this year, but feeling really burned out. I have a few weeks of vacation left and I really need a reset before another year of chasing my number. If you had 3 weeks of vacation left would you - take every Monday and Friday off from Nov 1 until Dec 15 or take a week at a time separately? Or something else? The last two weeks of the year will be really quiet anyway, so no need to use PTO.

Who has vacation rentals ? Looking at two communities one in Texas and one in Florida. They basically charge 19% for maintenance and then the turnover service. Pretty successful set of communities in Florida along 30A. Texas coast getting more popular too. I’m in Texas so would also be a vacation spot for me. I own several single family homes but first time going into this market.

Anyone here work at UF Shands in Florida? I’m interested in working there long term, but how easy is it to get in? How easy is it to transfer departments (such as from auditing to compliance)? Are the health benefits any good?

I am thinking of leaving my stable full time job for a contract position (ongoing with no time frame) for a bigger raise (making an exra $20/hour) with a large tech company. I'll still get benefits through Aquent so it's not a huge loss. It just feels risky in terms of being a contractor and the potential for it to end at anytime. I started in the industry in 07 for an institutional trading desk and then the recession hit and I got out of sales for management. I was in insurance sales for 2 years prior. 15 years in, I am 100% burnt out and currently taking a 2 week vacation. They changed my role, not the pay There has been a lot of turn over to IQVIA with salary of acct managers at base of 90k and unlimited PTO; is that true? Anyone from IQVIA can comment on culture, work/life, and base pay for account/clent managers? research shows regional acct managers make base of 96k but I'm making 76k with MBA, 15 yrs exp.

I have a friend who left BL to work for SEC and took a $100k slash in income. His professor from Georgetown who worked in SEC for 7 years went into the private sector and starting salary was $2million. This just blows my mind 🤯

How do you know when to up the dose on your meds? Currently on 40 mg Vyvanse. I usually get the peak euphoria feeling (super alert) about 1 hour after i take my meds and it lasts for a couple of hours. I work late but have noticed that i spend too much time staring at the screen and keep jumping between tasks. Would upping the dose help me concentrate on one task at a time? If not how do you manage this? What tips would you have to prevent the constant back and forth between tasks? TIA

Sales Managers: what tasks do you hate doing running a sales team?

Anybody else feel unworthy of this career? When it comes to stack rankings I’m generally in the top 50% of reps at companies I’ve worked for. On good years I’ll get into top 20%.

It seems every sales job posting is looking for people who have blown out their number every single year. I just don’t see how this is even possible, I’ve worked plenty of places where they gave us an unachievable target so nobody hit their number in a given year.

In this position, my boss expects me to be a sale rep, costumer support, and account management. Have a data/analytics b/g., but I’m much more social than a “typical” data/analytics person.
