So yall all happy with yall comp plans?
I highly recommend taking every Monday and Friday off for the rest of the year. I've done this in the past and it's like getting multiple mini-vacations. Total game-changer.
I wish my boss would allow us to do this. We would never get this approved though. It makes me sad.
As long as you manage your time well during the rest of the week that you're working, then the Monday and Friday plan sounds great! I think I would personally alternate between taking a Monday then a Friday off, just to avoid piling too much work during Tuesday through Thursday.
OOOOh that is soooo tough. On the one hand a long weekend would be really nice every weekend. On the otheer sometimes a good chunk of time off at one time is really nice. I think if your boss will let you I would prefer a four day weekend from Nov 1-Decemer 15.
The monday Friday thing is pretty cool if it doesn't mean you get overloaded with work tues-thurs. But I would take one full week and then split the rest for some long weekends.
I'd go with one full week off and then long weekends for the rest of the year. Use that week to do something that you've really been wanting to do -- that's always super refreshing too.
Up to you, but I'd rather do one long vacation so I could get far, far away.
The Monday and Friday plan seems fair enough. It would be nice to be able to reset every week. It'll feel like a vacation every week. It's a good idea as long as you plan out your work week well enough.
Hmmm. This is a hard questions actually. But for me, I'd probably take my days off every Monday and Friday so that I'll have more breaks in between my work days.
