Random Q... I’ve never understood the exact purpose of “leg day” I work out for definition, for weight management and for general fitness ( to be able to do strenuous activities with ease). Why legs?

D1 is correct. Also, leg day does a lot for a toned and larger butt, which is something that a lot of people aim for. It is also good for general strength, balance, and joint strength... as you get older, the joints in your knees especially become weak and it becomes very difficult to fix that later.

Ha. Well that might be the problem . I don’t lack leg muscles or a butt naturally. I like this idea though about working large muscle groups

Legs aren’t the fun muscles to workout so people sometimes forget about them. In reality you can work body weight legs exercises into your day pretty easily if you wanted

Leg day doesn’t address any of those objectives. A million squats hurts but seems pointless. Thoughts...?

Isn’t it building muscle? And since legs are usually one of the larger muscle groups therefore burns more calories?

Many people alternate upper and lower body just to not do full body in one day. Alternating gives your body time to rest in between sessions.

I have days for all body parts. This allows me to build muscle, tone, burn calories, and give my muscle groups enough time to rest and recover (which is when your muscles are actually being built) before lifting that muscle again. I also mix some elliptical and HIIT cardio in with some of these days. For example: Monday - chest & elliptical Tuesday - legs with a focus on glute & hamstring Wednesday - back & rowing circuits Thursday - shoulders & abdominal circuit Friday - legs with focus on quads & calves Saturday - biceps and triceps & light abs Sunday - rest

Does anyone know if we can use our work phone when traveling to Mexico/Canada or if international roaming still applies? On Verizon and not sure what the coverage is outside the US

Me and my SO make $320k, we have a child with special needs and we live in expensive Boston suburb, because of the public school system. We’ve been renting 2BDR 1500 sq feet for the past 6 years, our current rent is $3100, and our lease expires in the end of June. Landlord wants to know if we plan to renew for the same price. We can potentially look into buying kinda fixer-upper, ask for lower price or move out into bigger house. Thoughts?

Next Prediction for H1b: if you're not going to the office i.e. if you're working from home, leave the country. Kinda obvious move right? I'm a high five you if you predicted this before I break some furniture and cry in the corner.

About to go on a first date post-quarantine. How do people say hello these days on dates? My usual would be a kiss on the cheek but suspect in our current times that’s not going to be suitable. For context we are going for outside drinks so masks are going to have to come off.
