No way this is the whole story ...

I'm so confused. Why would waking up early offend her?

Seriously doubt this goes anywhere, but take it as a lesson to watch your mouth in public.

Agree with EY1, you definitely didn't tell us the whole story OP

More to the story... I hate reading post like this. Bunch of people replying trying to figure out what they said and speculating 🤔

like

I.e. like 530 and on she got offended because me and the guy were saying we start around the same time and threatened to contact my firm over offensive conduct which was two guys shooting the shit. She has my last name, should I be concerned?

like

OP, it can be considered rude to speak a foreign language when not everyone in the group speaks it. It’s possible the women felt you were talking about them, and perhaps it seemed derogatory by the tone / body language / etc. Regardless, you said you gave a “random” last name, right? Thus, the post makes no sense — but take it as a lesson to be courteous in the future.

There is nothing about this post that makes sense

All sorry for being a drunk mess, now I’m just hungover. Not 100% sure why I was concerned over a misunderstanding

like

Long story short this woman said her colleague worked more than anyone else and my drunkenness didn’t understand hyperbole at the moment and responded with that’s statistically very unlikely and she was offended.

like

Guy was not offended and I wished him well and he the same to me

No but actually, we were shooting the shit in another language and then she interrupted and demanded to know what company and client I was here for. When I refused to answer she asked for my supervisor and I gave a random last name and city

At the end I was telling him wtf and he was like she’s offended because he wakes up early and I reiterated that I wasn’t mocking him which he knew

He was like it’s his boss and she’s unhappy... but probably also just drunk idk?

OP I think the real reason she may have been offended is that you just talk a lot😛
