Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

How many eyes do you have and are they wide angle? Thanks
4/10. Looks disastrous. Good furniture though. You can get some sort of KVM switch sort of keyboard mouse combo. No need to have two. I also can’t stand when people have two different brands of monitors. Do you actually have a need to use both laptops at once ?

Not piling on the shit talking, but Logitech’s MX Keys and triathlon mouse are great for managing multiple machines from one keyboard/mouse combo. It’s pricey, but I am happy with the purchase.
😂 tough crowd. Tbf, OP did ask for it.
Well you got some easy actionable feedback: deal with the cables and post a new pic. By then it should look less cluttered even with two laptops, two keyboard, two monitors etc.
For the place you have, you don’t need a dual monitor setup. Put the monitor in the center high. Place laptops on either side, look into the monitor when working on it. Sell the second monitor and buy a Logitech multi device keyboard so you don’t have to switch keyboards. This way you avoid neck pain and have space for writing on your desk.
I bought the Logitech Ergo k860. Took maybe a week to get used to but overall I like it.

As someone who was absolutely raked across the coals by this community several years back over a pair of shoes i was polishing... I feel your pain OP.

This is my 10/10. If I was judging I’d say you are at year 1, recreation of a corporate setting. I’ve been doing this awhile. I’ll save you a spot. When you get to level 10 you can pickup internet with a yagi antenna just about anywhere.
No style
I’d put the two monitors in the middle with the laptops on the outside
Not enough space, I had monitors in the middle with and arm... didn’t have enough space for laptops on the desk
It’s not a smart desk unless you can talk to it

I’m wondering the same. It has 2 legs and a sheet of wood. What’s smart about it? Seller is smart enough to trick you into buying it?

Get dual 24 inch monitors and then post your rig. This is a #sadrig
Looks disorganized. Explore how to have just one keyboard and mouse. Momentum when working on multiple screens is important. Nice desk.
Try this for inspiration (and to please the fisbowl crowd) 😉

Did you get the right monitor from a link on here?
No, monitor from Amazon. Left one is old, right one is new 4k
4/10..please fix
How do you like that chair compared to the other brands? Need a new one and my head is spinning with the options
Ergo chair 2 is nice, Lot better than the last staple one I had
Can’t wait to see the results after all this constructive feedback.

This is probably a stupid question, but how does one best configure two large monitors with a laptop? I have my laptop to the side and one of the large monitors in the centre. The obvious issue with this his I’m not directly looking at my camera when facing straight forward, so I turn to my laptop for video calls. I guess no other way to deal with this (unless I get a moveable webcam)... don’t want the laptop in the middle and the large monitors at the sides, that seems weird.
