I think so. Conspiracy theory has always been a thing, with the help of social media it’s spreading like wildfire. Meanwhile the official channels are doing business like it’s year 1986...

Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:

1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.

2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.

3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)

4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

My dream company just gave me an offer of 8k less than current. I have another offer of 5k more at a company in Philly with killer benefits and training is great. My SO got an offer for 5k less here and 6k more in Philly. She feels the same about both.
What would you do? All offers are best and final

Hello, due to covid I moved in with my parents and was able to save some money to buy a house. I live in Atlanta GA now if that helps.

Since the start of the pandemic, I have been fairly safe and really haven’t gone anywhere (I think I went to TJ Maxx once in a moment of weakness lol). My family on the other hand hasn’t taken any precautions and actually did contract COVID. They keep telling me I’m paranoid and need to start going out but with COVID being worse now than it was back in March, I rather just not. I just want them off my back and wish they would respect my decision to not expose myself like I respected them.

I recently started working at a firm that does a lot of legal aid. In order to attract more private clients, they want us to go out and do speaking engagements and volunteer work (on our own time). Furthermore, they started asking us to consider doing per diem duty counsel work to bring up our receivables (aka- work as duty counsel and give them our pay). I was so appalled by this comment, I’m beyond livid. I became an associate so I didn’t have to go out and bring in business. (Cont.)

In your honest opinions, when do YOU actually take a creator seriously/ have respect for a creator? (can be an influencer/ UGC creator/ Tiktoker/ Youtuber/ Twitcher etc.)

Is it by the amount of followers, engagement rate, their professionalism from onboarding to off boarding, our personal opinion of their content, or?

I’m keen to know what is it that you do (if you’re in marketing/ social media or corporate) and your thoughts.

Thank you! :)

Riffing off a part in another bowl - if you could design a new economic system to replace capitalism, what would you change.

Clearly government control is not the way to go, but there are also clearly some major problems with a system that requires endless growth and prioritizes capital accumulation as an end in itself.

There has to be a better way to incentivize individual excellence while harnessing it towards more socially beneficial goals.

I'm interested in moving into a leadership role focusing on engagement strategies. But don't know where to start, or what I'd be worth in the private sector in London.

I've been offered £150K+ by recruiters on LI.
