Continuing to invest in the market
Moving assets to cash
Time in the market > timing the market. If you’re young ride it out. Should already be allocating a % to both a hysa and investments
Stay in the market. $10k invested in March of 1941 would be worth $75m today in that time we had a world war, the Vietnam war, the civil rights movement, a presidential assassination, oil embargo, a terrorist attack, another war and a recession. During all that the market just kept climbing
We're pretty much in the 1% (not .1%), and I'll say that I'm not planning on rebalancing. Continuing to invest in tax deferred accounts as usual. And wouldn't want to sell assets in taxable accounts and pay the CGT. If anything, I've been directing more taxable savings into hysa instead of directly in the market in the past few months. So sitting cash heavy. People have been taking recession for years. If you had pulled out last December, you would've missed out on 32% gains since. Could be like this for another year +.
I think this guy, as always, brings up a great point.
Don’t try to mimic the super rich, the way they handle their existing money is very different considering their position.
I'm definitely not 0.1%. I'm not even 1%. So, no.
I've rebalanced towards more treasuries to change the risk balance. Already was heavy cash so just keeping that steady.
