I feel like a lot of the discourse about pharmacists lately ignores that we are often just as informed or even more informed about the drugs physicians are handing out than they are. I have an interesting one. I recently was hired (temp-to-perm) for a leading tech industry hardware manufacturer in TA.

It has a senior title, but is essentially a process admin role (as are all my peers in a similar title / level.) The company HAS converted nearly every person that got thru their trial, but it's mindless. Yet it's the most money I have ever made. It's WFH.

What would you do? Mindless big check, zero benefit to career or start looking?

We provide new hires a voucher to use to redeem company branded merchandise of their choice. They have 30-days to use it, otherwise it’s invalid and the funds return to the company. Do you believe the value of the voucher needs to be taxed like gift cards? My stance is no, because it’s a company purchase and just giving them the option of which merch item to choose and there’s no cash value.

I’m job hunting in Los Angeles, looking at a variety of titles (HRBP, Sr. HRBP, Manager, Sr. Manager, Director). I have 8 YOE and my SHRM-SCP. I reached my report limit on payscale.com, so I used a variety of other sites to price the roles (BLS, salary.com, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Robert Half). The problem I’m having is the huge inconsistencies between sources (there are $40k differences between some of the identified medians). (Continued…)

Hi everyone. I am having a rough time with morale at my company. The issues can be traced back directly to senior leadership, and I have rolled up the feedback and issues time and time again. I am no longer sure what to tell employees who come to me for help. We just launched an engagement survey (my last ditch effort to get senior leaders to LISTEN). Any advice on how best to coach employees through this if I am losing hope that things will change?
