@OP don't even try L-carnitine, it'll get worse. And hypothyroidism can exacerbate depression and anxiety, get that and any vitamin levels under control first. Download a therapy app.
Then maybe try a live therapist and xanax after all that.
True story, my trainer told me to supplement l carnitine (it's a fat metabolized he and my bodybuilding brother both take) recently and my anxiety/depression symptoms improved. I researched it and it improves heart/brain function. Has virtually no cons, unless you have any seizure inducing condition or hypothyroidism - it makes both worse. Otherwise it is beneficial to add to your diet, asked my MD too and he approved. Research it, ask your doctor, and maybe try it? Can't hurt!
I love Xanax
If you're in DC, look up Dr. Jason Rosen
Call your insurance company and ask for psychologists and psychiatrists who are in-network and schedule an appointment. Good luck
If you're in CHICAGO hit me up
I just went to my dr, said I have terrible anxiety and I get panic attacks (because i truly do) and he was like ok. And gave me some. It really does help.
Xanax is your best friend
K2: Xanax treats anxiety not stress. So that maybe why. Also you may have had too high of a dose. Mine doesn't put me to sleep. I only use it when I'm having a panic attack though.
I'm in Chicago
That's ^ L-carnitine
@P1 lol, I have hypothyroidism
I got xanax in college and it only put me to sleep. Is that what Happens? It doesn't matter how stressed I am I can always sleep lol
