My understanding of the C role at LEK is that it's essentially an M role in most B4/boutique firms with project planning and management responsibilities.
My question is, given that set of duties, what differentiates that role from an EM on the same engagement? Are there more sales expectations or internal initiatives to be a part of? Just curious as I'll be applying this fall and want to understand as much as I can.

A few items to note though:
- I've assumed 15% return from the market this year but who actually know if we have a steady full recovery without a significant correction.
- I've factored in the FMV of my crypto in my NW number, but have not factored in the growth if BTC or ETH were to explode by at least 300%...
- I'm inheriting an portion of my late parent retirement accounts, which I think would be valued anywhere between 50K and 70K. This transfer has not happened yet.
- I'm targeting savings of about $45K this year, which is around a 50% saving rate. I still want to travel somewhere in the latter half and I've got 3 weddings to attend!
Some of you are extremely aggressive and I have no idea why....
Most of you do not need to get that aggressive with investments if you're really estimating a 40% return and saving 50% of your income...
Or maybe some of you have actually 20% of your net worth in Bitcoin or something..
TC increased from 165k to 400k this year 🤔

Thank you. Many, many years of very hard work and two amazing employees. I have a great team and clients I like working with. Very fortunate.
32, 1.58mm, 2.0. Single, no kids.
Have a huge cap gains tax bill coming up, so that will be a headwind this year.
Ended the year at $2.75mm, vs the goal of $2.0. Great success. New goal for 2022 is a modest 3.4mm.
Our company basically stock tripled in 2021. Don’t think those cap gains will be replicable. My other investments also did very well, but wish I had more BX equity

Lol DD1, don't know that "pick up the slack" is fair!! Yes I'm glad he got a great new job back in March. Our increase came from partially that, and my Google stock vesting/appreciation.
Spent a fair bit on travel and stuff this year, so ideally next year we'll balance topline growth AND keeping a lid on spending and we're in good shape.

Mission accomplished. Actually ended up going from $2.4M to $3.0M (thought I was closer to $2.3M in my initial post), easily exceeding my goal of $2.6M.
New goal (hope?) for 2022: $3.4M.

I think I have to do the heavy lifting of applying on my own, but the last part of the program is geared towards getting you ready for that and you have a career counselor assigned to you

Wow! I want a career change too. I make around $300k a year but don’t think it is sustainable. Thanks for sharing.
Also, I crossed $1M recently and want to buddy up with you to learn how I can better grow my assets.
