How is the FDD presence for BDO/GT/RSM FDD in the South/Southwest? How is the workload and compensation compared to the Big 4?
Have heard that the mid-tier you get more exposure to the entire deal process, is this true as well? Any insight is appreciated.

I have over 1 Y. O. E of experience around Data Science and Analytics roles, but almost in all of my roles I have worked as a Data Analyst now I'm looking out for a Data Science role even an entry level role will work for me. The tools that I have worked on are SAS, SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, R and I have the knowledge on Data Analysis front as well as ML and some extent of DL knowledge.

Looking for advice. I currently am happy in my current position but a hospital near by is offering 30k sign on bonus (contracted for 2 years) with competitive pay and benefits. My current director is trying to get us all pay raises, but keeps getting denied. I do think something is coming though. If I get an offer I want to allow my current employer the chance to counter offer. Being in a leadership role right now, has any one done this and had it back fire?

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?

Applied to a large self insured on 5/13. Interviewed w/ recruiter who said next step is interviewing w/ the hiring mgr who wanted to move fast. Heard nothing until 5/24 when the recruiter called - everybody loves my credentials, but my salary requirement is what they pay their managers and more than what the role I applied for pays. He said they were having talks about finding a way to meet my number and sit tight. Heard nothing since 5/24. Getting anxious here. No news is good news?

Slalom folks - did you get a salary increase upon joining? I've been told my Mgr salary is on the high end for them and the offer would only match [or incrementally increase] my current comp. 🤔
I feel absolutely broken by this job. But, I cant leave because I'm only an SC and I don't have an MBA. And despite 10 years of experience, 6 of which are Big4, I seem to only be qualified to be a VP.
My understanding of the C role at LEK is that it's essentially an M role in most B4/boutique firms with project planning and management responsibilities.
My question is, given that set of duties, what differentiates that role from an EM on the same engagement? Are there more sales expectations or internal initiatives to be a part of? Just curious as I'll be applying this fall and want to understand as much as I can.
