Really feeling hopeless today ! 35 male in a relationship, girlfriend just turned 37. I feel like I should have married early and should have had kids by now. We are together for a year now, she is amazing and loves me a lot, I love her too but since the beginning g it has bothered me that she is older than me and makes half as much as I do. I feel guilty for feeling this way and don’t want to hurt a good person.

SO and I are moving from a 1BD into a 2BD for more space. If we plan to have kids - what were some important criteria / nice to have that you looked for in a place? Our 1BD is close to 800 sq ft in Manhattan.

Examples:
Separate room for the kid (must have)
Outdoor place (our current apt has a huge private park - is this useful for babies / small kids)
Bathtub - heard it makes bath time easier
Doorman / elevator (must have for us)

So my bipolar dad got declined for a mortgage because disability gets shut off in < 3 years when he turns 65. So now he wants me to co-sign for him.
