Jetblue is hiring for a recruiter/TA in NY. Not sure what the salary is, but I'll be the other benefits and perks are pretty sweet (if you like to travel, of course).

The market is pretty tough right now, unfortunately. My company has a hiring freeze in place. I did see a couple roles with Bank of America which might still be open.

I applied. I’ve been in offer stages with a few firms but the comp hasn’t been there

Need some advice. I have a Computer Engineer degree, I’m trying to focus on web3 software but also have interest in cybersecurity. Not sure if I should just start looking for web3 software jobs or do a masters in cybersecurity. I know web3 pays a lot but would a cybersecurity masters make a bigger difference in salary when looking at cybersecurity positions vs just going software/web3 now? Or should I be looking at software masters programs?

CS and SWE is great in that it can be applicable to a great range of fields, to create immensely helpful tools for other things.

What are some areas where SWE intersects with things that help people, country, and the world? Now also add in making a decent living and generally competitive with other SWE “industry”.

Things that come to my mind are government-related, military, some fintech. Sciences have great need of computing, and can have big impact, but income is less clear.

I feel that I’m well qualified, and have a lot of experience (10 years) + Masters in HR but not good at selling myself and what I can bring to the table. Any suggestions on how to stand out during the interview process? Part of the problem might be that I’m not a great articulator. Any tips you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Best job to get to transition into HR?

Does anyone know where to start in HR please?

My goal role in 5 years let’s say is Chief People Officer / People & Culture Director, etc.

My background is 12+ years in customer/client experience, coaching, sales, and account management. I’m finishing a Lv7 executive coaching course and starting a CIPD Lv5 people management course.

Any ideas on what roles I can start with? Don’t care if it’s a simple role, getting in with a good company is important.

Interested to see some perspectives - currently working at a Payroll & Benefits Specialist at a fast growing company and recently passed my PHR! I just started this role only a few months ago but am already feeling like I can take on more, but not as much as a HR manager. I’m struggling to understand where exactly it is I can go from here. I’m 25, have 3 years of experience, and get paid $59k/year.

Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!
