I think every creative feels a level of imposter syndrome, I know I do. The best way to combat it is to just keep working hard, stop doubting yourself, and remind yourself you got hired for a reason. No one becomes amazing overnight, just keep addressing feedback and bringing in more than is asked. Also, a career is decades long and it’s hard to remember that what you’re doing now doesn’t define what you’ll be doing in 10 years. You’ll be ok, because at the end of the day we’re all just making ads, not curing cancer

Few people, it seems, are brave enough to look themselves in the mirror to truly “know thyself” — if ya want to get Shakespearean about it. But at the same time, maybe you’re actually talented and have been beaten down by the windbags and know-nothings who seem to populate this industry with greater prevalence just about every year.
What I would do is seek out your heroes. Who inspired you to get into this racket? Whose work do wish you had done? Try to share your work with these folks to get a true read on your ability and potential. And then go from there...
