[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Context: I just started a sales role 3 months ago State Farm. It’s my first time ever doing sales. Huge success so far, (nothing extravagant yet), but it’s only been 3 months. I’m currently selling 50+ policies a month.
I know sales isn’t everything it takes to start an Agency. Where should I try to pursue growth before starting an agency?
Follow Up Question: Is my boss hyping me up or is 50+ policies a month pretty good?
Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

#1 for me is this idiotic “go” thing you keep doing. It’s not bloody Usain Bolt sprinting the Olympic final.

On my last project I was told I’m too much of a horse power in a team! One would have thought it’s a good sign 😂!
You might have been objectively right from your viewpoint. That being said, it could also have created an issue for the client. Hard to say without details.
That depends on how the PM came to that position and if it could be replaced without significant impact to all workstreams.
Sometimes the PM cannot be replaced and the best alternative is to pitch for additional support. It could be a sale opportunity.
Lack of commitment to the project. Whhhaaat???
