I’m eligible for 401k %match from my employer on aug 1 2021. The max total amount I could get from them for 2021 is ~$420. I plan on maxing out & my 401k has an aggressive strategy. Would you wait to contribute until later in the year in order to maximize the match, or invest early in the year for the compound interest gains? Am I wrong to think the latter?

Total newbie. Today the same work that took me 5 hours to complete took 1.5hr for a coworker. I’m keep seeing this pattern on different kinds of work, from research to formatting. California State Income Tax question: I am joining a big 4 (audit) in California. The first couple of months I will be working remotely from home in another state. After these first couple of months, I will be moving to California. I think this puts me as a part-year resident in CA.
